The main strategic task of the Faculty of Dentistry is to train specialists of a new generation, highly qualified, able to work with the use of equipment of a new generation, using modern methods of diagnosis and treatment.
The teaching process of the Faculty of Dentistry of our University is based on the principles of continuity, as a result of which the form of student activity is modeled, which is close to the professional activity of a doctor. From the very first days of education, our students gradually master manual skills, get acquainted with the work of a dentist under the guidance of leading specialists in clinics, equipped in latest technologies, of our capital, and also gradually begin an independent clinical appointment under the supervision of a teacher.
The main direction of training dentists is the study of specialized disciplines at the dental departments of the faculty, which include therapeutic and orthopedic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, surgical dentistry, orthodontics. Depending on the specialization that our students will receive after completing their bachelor’s degree, graduates can work as dental therapists, maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontists or orthopedic dentists.
